It may vary device to device due to a different kind of optimizations made by the manufacturers. 1,87,000 points on AnTuTu benchmarks followed by roughly 1,84,000 points for Snapdragon 710 and 1,60,000 points for Snapdragon 665. Snapdragon 665 GeekBench Snapdragon 710 GeekBench Snapdragon 712 GeekBenchįor AnTuTu, snapdragon 712 powered Mi 9 SE scores approx. Lastly, Snapdragon 712 numbers are slightly improved with 1910 points for single-core and 6060 points for the multi-core results. The Snapdragon 710 scores 1899 points for single-core and 5966 points for multi-core. The average GeekBench scores for Snapdragon 6 points for single-core and 5600 points for multi-cores. Other features include USB 3.1, Bluetooth 5.0, true wireless audio, Qualcomm mobile security, Qualcomm content protection, USB 3.1 support, 802.11a/b/g (dual-band 2.4GHz, 5.0 GHz). Other calling features included VoLTE with SRVCC to 3G and 2G, Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi) with LTE call continuity, and HD and Ultra HD Voice (EVS), of course, all three support Dual VoLTE SIM cards. All three allow up to 150 Mbps upload speed. The maximum download limit is 600 Mbps for X12, which can go up to 800 Mbps on the other two. The clock frequency of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 is at 2.20 GHz. The clock frequency of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G is 2.40 GHz while the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 has 8 CPU cores and 8 threads can calculate simultaneously. The Snapdragon X15 powers the Snapdragon 710 and 712. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G has 8 CPU cores and can calculate 8 threads in parallel. We also tried out Asphalt 9 on the Realme 5 and have come across minor stutter when you land or perform a 360-degree spin. The cellular department is handled by the Snapdragon X12 modem for the Snapdragon 665. I also played the game on high settings and there was a little bit of stutter, so the overall gameplay looks pretty fine. The gameplay on the medium graphics setting is pretty good (we tested the frame rates using the GameBench app for our peace of mind and they were consistent) and you can take down enemies without any problems. So, don’t be disappointed with the low graphics setting pop-up after the login page. PUBG Mobile r uns on medium graphics setting by default and I’d discovered that when I checked on the settings in the middle of a Team Deathmatch. Moving to the gaming front, well, there seems to be something wrong with PUBG Mobile or Snapdragon 665 as the game assumes low graphics setting by default. Snapdragon 665 feels breezy for daily use and I didn’t notice any stutters while testing out the smartphones – both the Realme 5 and Mi A3. In the brief time that I spent with the Realme 5, the smartphone felt a little lackluster on the performance front. The raw processing power for these two chipsets is quite comparable on paper, as you can see right here: You’ll most likely get the same performance out of the Snapdragon 665-powered Realme 5 as any other Snapdragon 660-backed smartphone. Snapdragon 665 may be built on the advanced 11nm process node, but it uses the same Kryo 260 cores and the lower clock speed doesn’t seem to be doing wonders for it. And the difference is not just of a few hundred points but instead thousands of points, which makes me question Qualcomm’s intentions for releasing the Snapdragon 665. This, however, isn’t true as the AnTuTu score of the Realme 5 is lower than that of the Redmi Note 7S. Snapdragon 665 comes as a minor refinement of the Snapdragon 660, so one obviously expects the former to trump the latter on paper. Do be on your toes though as there are a lot of surprises in store. Now that we are well acquainted with the basics of the Snapdragon 665 chipset, let us check out its benchmark scores and see how it compares to Snapdragon 660. Snapdragon 665 comes equipped with the Adreno 610 GPU as compared to the Adreno 512 GPUb on its predecessor. However, the former has been built on the more advanced 11nm process node, packs a newer ISP, and a newer GPU. Well, it might come as a shocker but the newer Snapdragon 665 is clocked lower at 2.0GHz as compared to the 2.2GHz clock speed of the Snapdragon 660. Both of these chipsets are packing the same Kryo 260 cores, with the exception of different clock speeds. Snapdragon 665, as the name should tell, is a minor upgrade over the uber-popular Snapdragon 660 chipset that powers the Redmi Note 7S.
